The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international organization that supports and promotes forest management standards that are environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable. To carry out its mission, FSC evaluates, audits, and monitors certification bodies that verify the use of FSC standards, provides training and information, and promotes the use of products that carry the FSC logo.
